Inside Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat’s aww-worthy haldi ceremony – see pics

A new day, a new set of pictures from Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat’s wedding. The dreamy photos from the wedding have taken the internet by storm for over a week now. The Bollywood couple tied the knot on March 15 in Gurgaon, Haryana, and since their fairytale wedding, the couple has been treating their millions of fans to aww-worthy photos.

On Sunday (March 24), Kriti and Pulkit shared fun-filled photos from their wedding festivities. The latest carousel of photos gave us a sneak-peek of their love-filled Haldi ceremony, and the couple gave it a new twist.

For their ‘thodi unconventional’ haldi ceremony, the couple had a multani mitti (Fuller’s earth), and following a tradition, they added a pinch of haldi to it. The reason behind using multani mitti in their ceremonies was to protect their skin. For the unversed, Multani Mitti is a natural remedy and has remarkable skin benefits.

Sharing the photos, Kriti wrote in the caption: ”Hamari haldi thodi unconventional thi. Haldi ki ek chutki for Sagan in a pack of Multani mitti, created especially for pulkit and I, keeping our skin in mind coz bride and groom have to glow na. PS big props to the person who held me back while the others threw pulkit into the pool 🙂 I’m grateful! .”

For the haldi ceremony, Pulkit and Kriti looked adorable. The 14 Phere actress wore a beautiful orange crop top with palazo. Embroidered with stonework, the crop top featured a deep V-neck with an attached short trail. She tied her hair in a loose braid, and wore a golden maang tika, with circular earrings and a bracelet. Pulkit, on the other hand, opted for a printed yellow kurta with white pants.

The first photo showed Pulkit softly kissing Kriti as they were both drenched in multani mitti. The next snap shows both of them posing before the haldi ceremony.

After tying the knot in Delhi, the couple hosted a grand wedding reception. On Friday, the couple shared a series of photos from their reception night. Sharing the photos, the newlywed couple wrote, ”Right here, right now’s all we got! #Mr&Mrs .”
